| Send v-mails (video mails) |
A video mail is a message that you record from your web cam along with your microphone, and then attach and send by e-mail.
People say that a photo speaks for a 1000 words because it carries emotions and intent that can not be expressed on words alone. That is why video mail can better express the message you're trying to send.
First you need to have a capture profile of your web cam plus microphone selected and active. Learn about 'Capture Profiles'.
After you have selected the correct capture profile to record from then you can change compression and other settings opening the 'Record Settings' dialog.
It's recommended that you use the codec or encoder that will give you the smallest size on the output video file because the file will be sent by e-mail.
Select the video message file and go to the 'File Menu' or right-click with the mouse and you'll be presented with the option to e-mail it like this :

Click on 'Send as Attachment...' and the 'E-mailer' dialog will appear.
There you will select to whom you want to send the e-mail, type in the subject and message and click 'Send'.
It's that simple and powerful.
